About Recent Funding
Last updated
Recent Funding (recentfunding.com) is a free, daily-updated list of recently funded startups and the funding rounds they announced. Every amount links to the announcement or article it came from, so you can check it in one click.
What Recent Funding covers
- Recently funded startups: the newest funding rounds, filterable by stage, industry and accelerator, each with its source.
- Stealth startups: companies flagged while still in stealth, before they announce a round, and which of them went on to raise.
- Investors and founders: who backed each company and who started it.
- Startup acquisitions: deals kept apart from funding, with the price when an announcement states one.
- Funding data: capital deployed per day and 30-day funding stats.
- Categories and accelerators: the same companies grouped by market and by program.
The Recent Funding API
The same data is available as the Recent Funding API, a free, read-only JSON API of recently funded startups, rounds, investors, founders, categories, accelerators and acquisitions. A free API key needs only an email address. The spec is openapi.json, and llms.txt describes the site and API for AI assistants.
How the data is kept accurate
Companies are discovered from public fundraising sources and announcements. An amount is shown only with the page it came from, and amounts that don't hold up against their source are corrected or cleared, with each correction recorded. How Recent Funding sources and verifies funding data explains the rules.
Newsletter
"Top raises, every week": a weekly email of the largest rounds. Use the signup on any page.
